Rebel

Unedited Photos

Sketchbook

Rebelling is in our nature. Teengers rebel in many ways because they are ready to become more independent but aren’t quite ready to be adults. Teenagers defy authority and adults by doing things parents tell us specifically not to do. For my photo, I decided to take a photo of the classic rebelling move, sneaking out. Sneaking out is what many teenagers do to go against their parents but in a way they hopefully won’t get caught.

I had the teenager sneaking back into the house in the early morning from a night out. To showcase them sneaking back in the house I have them crawling through the window on the porch. I have the teenager wearing high heels to symbolize that they were out at a party or something else and needed to be a little dressed up. The photo has been edited to look like early morning, when the teen is getting back home. This tint in the photo also gives a gloomier look to it to symbolize that something bad has happened. In this case it’s bad for the parent that the teen is rebelling. This is a classic example of a teenager rebelling against a parent by sneaking out of the house.
