     A secret is defined as something this is kept or meant to be kept unknown or unseen by others. Many times people have serious secrets that they need to tell someone but just can’t. These secrets could be affecting them in harmful ways. For my photo, I wanted to portray the idea that everyone has something on their mind and everyone has secrets they can’t share but need to. The subject of the photo has a secret about themselves that they don’t feel comfortable telling anyone.

     To represent this secrecy I had the person cover their mouth. This symbolizes their silence to the world and how they don’t tell anyone what is going on with them. The person then has a facial expression that is crying out for help. Their eyes look like they are scared as well as sad and upset that they are holding this secret in. On their hand is written “help me”, this symbolizes how they are crying out for help but no one notices because they don’t tell anyone about their problems but rather just have a sad look on their face. The message of this photo is that even though the person might not say anything, they always need your help and you should always be there for them no matter what.
